Thank you to our speakers, Janel, Donald, and Tee, as well as everyone who joined us for an inspiring discussion on domestic violence and youth bullying.  Your presence and engagement made this event a true community effort.  Together with organizations like CASA and Rising Asian American Youth (RAAY), we’re building awareness, empathy, and proactive support across Tampa Bay. Thank you for helping us take meaningful steps toward empowerment, safety, and collective healing πŸ’œ

Donald Joo Lee

Born and raised in Tampa to first-generation Korean immigrants, Donald Joo Lee embodies the spirit of leadership and service at the heart of NAAAP Tampa Bay.  After witnessing his son face racism and bullying, Donald and his wife founded Rising Asian American Youth (RAAY) under NAAAP Tampa’s mentorship to create a safe, empowering space for students to embrace their heritage and find their voice.  Through his journey – from engineering manager to community advocate – Donald reminds us that true success comes from trust, visibility, and courage.
